Once in 30 years ...

I have lived in Saskatchewan for 30 years and have been an avid birder all the while.  Just when I think I cannot possibly see any new species of birds ... there they are!!!

The Red Crossbills landed at the feeder for one day.  I don't know how they manage to eat with those impossibly crossed bills! 

Our paths may never cross again!  Enjoy!
